On the shores of Lake “Achensee”, sledging enthusiasts can choose among five natural sledge runs with a length ranging from 1.5 to 3.0 kilometres. There are both family-friendly and challenging runs for exciting sledge rides.
Guided Walks
The rangers of the “Naturpark Karwendel” Nature Reserve will be delighted to show you the rich wildlife in this realm of ice and snow during a guided winter walk.
Sledging at night is great fun. In Achenkirch you can enjoy night sledging every Wednesday. On the other four sledge runs, this is possible every day.
If you prefer getting effortlessly to the top of the sledge run, you can use a lift in Achenkirch. In the village of Pertisau, the “Rodlexpress” takes you to the top.
