The “Achensee” region is one of the major cross-country skiing centres in Tyrol. On the shores of the largest lake in Tyrol, there are more than 200 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails for enjoyable Nordic skiing experiences.

The topography of the local area, comprising a gentle hilly terrain on the lakeshore and steep sided valleys in the “Karwendel” mountains, and the excellent and comprehensive facilities, including separate trails for classic style and skating, a practising trail, barrier-free cross-country skiing trails and snow-making facilities, guarantee delightful outdoor experiences.
