This hike has the motto “Alpine pastures; Natural vs. cultural landscape”. From the parking lot you go over the Pletzach bridge into Gerntal. You walk along beautiful paths through a wonderful mountain forest, which has become home to many wild animals (red deer, roe deer, etc.). We follow this path and we will come across the promising and open alpine meadows of the Pletzachalm. From this man-made landscape, you can admire the view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. We can see that natural and cultural landscapes can have major differences, but do not have to be opposites. Then it goes back to the starting point.

Duration: approx. 4 hours (refreshments available at the Pletzachalm)
