The hiking trail leads to the left of the valley station of the Rofan cable car over a wide, scenic path up to the Häusererbühel chapel. The way back is via the same route or via the forest path back to the hotel.
Tipp: Besonders schön am Abend, wenn alles hell erleuchtet ist! 

Tobogganing 
Christlum

From the parking lot of the Christlum Hochalm lifts in Achenkirch, you walk past the Hotel Das Kronthaler and reach the Christlum Alm on the forest path (= toboggan run in winter) in about 30 minutes. If you continue along this path, you finally come to the Riederbergstüberl (1,260 meters). .

Feilkopf

The best way is to take the free bus to Pertisau. From the entrance to the Karwendel valleys, follow the direction of Gerntal. After about 20 minutes, turn left towards Feilalm (signposted). The trail leads you directly into the forest, always slightly uphill up to the Feilkopf (1,562 meters).

From the hotel towards the town center and from there towards the lake. From here you can either walk left in the direction of Pertisau or right in the direction of the Atoll Achensee and on to the Buchau district. If the way back is too far, you can take the free bus back.

Skitour
Hohe Platte 

also called "Platt'l" by the locals. Ski tour on the sunny side at 1,813 m, with a longer forest road ascent. Wonderful ascent over alpine pastures and a view of the deep Karwendel.

Achenkirch  

From the Sixenhof local history museum, walk west to the Schrambacherhof, where a flat path leads into the Oberautal. Immediately after the last farm and the Stod chapel, the waterfall is to the right of the path. The way back is via the same route.

Pletzachalm
Pertisau

At the entrance to the Karwendel valleys, branch off to the right and follow the signs along the Seebergsteig to the Pletzachalm at 1,040 metres. To get to the Gern Alm (1,172 metres), turn right before the Pletzachalm and take the beautiful hiking trail through the forest. The way back is via the same route.

Dalfazer
waterfall

With a drop of around 60 meters, the water roars down the mountain. The Dalfazer waterfall is definitely worth seeing and, by the way, also the most beautiful and largest waterfall here on Lake Achensee.

Bärenkopf
1.991 m 

Our very personal hiking tip on one of the peaks with the most views here at Lake Achensee. Sometimes the only mountain from which you can see the lake in its entire length!

Feilkopf
1.562 m 

This moderately difficult MTB route takes you to the 1,562 meter high summit of the "Feilkopf". Fantastic views are guaranteed here. The Feilalm below invites you to take a break.

Astenau
1.483m 

Absolute favorite hut located on a sunny high plateau. Open from April to November. From sunrise to sunset. Opportunity to continue hiking to the Ebner Joch 1,957m.

Seeberg
2.085 m 

Step by step towards the Seebergspitze. A physically demanding, but beautiful mountain tour. Almost 1,200 meters in altitude have to be overcome. Tip: Open your eyes to see the ibexes.

Gaisalm
on the lake

On to the Gaisalm. You can only get here on foot or by boat. It is nestled between mountain and lake in an idyllic, secluded location, directly on the quiet western shore of Lake Achen.
