Dalfaz

With a drop of around 60 meters, the water roars down the mountain. The Dalfazer waterfall is definitely worth seeing and, by the way, also the most beautiful and largest waterfall here on Lake Achensee.

Feilkopf

This moderately difficult MTB route takes you to the 1,562 meter high summit of the "Feilkopf". Fantastic views are guaranteed here. The Feilalm below invites you to take a break.

Astenau

Absolute favorite hut located on a sunny high plateau. Open from April to November. From sunrise to sunset. Opportunity to continue hiking to the Ebner Joch 1,957m.

Gaisalm
on the lake

On to the Gaisalm. You can only get here on foot or by boat. It is nestled between mountain and lake in an idyllic, secluded location, directly on the quiet western shore of Lake Achen.

Von der ältesten Dampf- Zahnradbahn Europas direkt auf's Achensee Schiff

Ein Hauch von Nostalgie

Mit dem Zeitalter der Achensee Dampf-Zahnradbahn und der Achenseeschiffahrt begann der Tourismus am Achensee und das ist schon eine ganz schön lange Zeit her. Seit bereits 125 Jahren, genau genommen seit 1889, krallt sie sich schnaubend und zischend den Berg hinauf. Von Jenbach im Inntal bis zum Achensee bewältigt sie auf knapp sieben Kilometern 440 Höhenmeter: Die Achensee Dampf Zahnradbahn ist europaweit die älteste ihrer Art und nach wie vor unermüdlich im Einsatz.

Wenn sie oben angekommen ist und schnaufend am See pausiert, wartet schon ein Dampfer der Achenseeschifffahrt, mit dem Gäste die erlebnisreiche Panoramareise gleich fortsetzen können. Die Fahrpläne sind aufeinander abgestimmt.
