Are there also single rooms?

For solo travelers, our double rooms are available for single use and can be booked on request only. We charge a discount of 25% from the current room price.

Is the Hotel St. Georg zum See an adults only hotel?

No, the Hotel St. Georg zum See is currently not an “adults only” hotel. Family bookings are only available on request. Good to know: There are no special facilities for children, such as children's pool, games room, special children's menus, etc., available in our hotel.

What types of meals can I book?

With us you can arrange your stay according to your wishes. Enjoy our flexible culinary offerings. Whether with just breakfast, gourmet half-board (breakfast-afternoon snack-evening menu) or without any food at all.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome with advance notice. We charge a dog fee of € 25 per day/dog. Maximum of 1 dog per room. Since we do not offer our own “dog rooms”, we ask that you ensure that dogs do not stay on the bed, couch, etc. Therefore, please bring a dog blanket, dog basket and food bowl with you. We reserve the right to charge for final room cleaning if necessary. Four-legged friends are also not allowed into the restaurant or the SPA area.

Is there a fridge in the room?

Our rooms currently do not have a refrigerator or minibar. However, if you have medications that need to be refrigerated, please feel free to contact us. We will do our best to find a solution for you.

Is there a coffee machine in the rooms?

Our rooms currently do not have a coffee machine. But don't worry, our service team will be happy to spoil you with delicious coffee specialties. You can enjoy your coffee as you please either at our hotel bar or on our terrace.

Are the rooms equipped with air conditioning?

Our rooms currently do not have air conditioning. But we are very lucky to live in the mountains, where the intense heat waves are concentrated on only a few days a year.

Is there a minimum stay?

No matter whether you want to stay just 1 night, for a few days or longer. We have no minimum stay*! You decide how long you want to stay and we will ensure that your stay is unforgettable. We also offer daily arrivals so you can plan flexibly. So you don't have to stick to fixed arrival days*, but you can start every day when it suits you best.

*except over Christmas/New Year's Eve (December 22nd - January 2nd)

Is a deposit required for a fixed reservation?

For fixed reservations (only valid after confirmation from the hotel) or online booking, we ask for a deposit free of charge. The amount of the deposit corresponds to 40% of the booking amount and is due on the day of booking. We will send further information in the respective booking confirmation.

Until when can I cancel free of charge?

Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before arrival!
From 14 days to 2 days before arrival, 90% of the booking amount is due.
From 1 day before arrival, in the event of no-show or early departure, 
100% of the booking amount.

* In the event of a cancellation, we will charge 40% as a credit for a new booking within 1 year. Only applies to direct bookings.

In your interest, we ask you to take out travel cancellation insurance (European travel cancellation insurance) in order to avoid additional cancellation costs.
In the event of cancellation, the entire holiday will be charged without deductions. There is no refund for services not used. The right of withdrawal according to §18, paragraph 1Z. 10 FAGG does not apply, but the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry 2006 (AGBH 2006) apply.

Can I take out travel cancellation insurance through the hotel?

We have been working with European Travel Cancellation Insurance for several years. You can book this when you complete your booking or complete it yourself.

Is the wellness area open daily?

Of course our SPA is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saunas from 2 p.m.

Are bathrobes, slippers and towels available?

During your stay you will have a practical bathing bag with fluffy towels and bathrobes at your disposal. For the sake of the environment, we ask you to bring your own bathing shoes.

Is the food at, for example, the breakfast buffet also intended for takeaway

Our breakfast buffet is intended solely for on-site enjoyment and is priced accordingly. However, you are welcome to order a lunch package for an additional fee.
