A toll-free journey to Lake Achensee is also possible via the Achen Pass or Bad Tölz. From Munich you drive to the motorway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz - national border and then via Achenkirch 10 km to Maurach am Achensee. Or via the Inntal autobahn A12 (attention: toll sticker required) - Wiesing autobahn exit.

You can also take the train to Tegernsee train station and then take a taxi or bus line 9550 via Kreuth to Lake Achensee (approx. 35km).
With the Nightjet in the mountains: Comfortable, climate-friendly and traffic-free to the Achensee! Train journey there and back in the ÖBB Nightjet from Hamburg, Düsseldorf or Amsterdam.
